At Separate Tables
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) STAFFORD (England), Jan. 4 Trouble flared in the old peoples’ home when George, aged 70, saw Walter, 87, put six spoonfuls of sugar in his tea.
It was too much, said George and did not leave enough sugar to go round.
Hard words over the teacups led to a challenge to a “fair fight” in the garden. George, a retired boxer, apparently won but a court later fined him £1 for assault. Now they are back to their tea cups, but at separate tables.
