Terrell Is Clay’s Next

Ernie Terrell, the world heavy-weight champion according to the World Boxing Association, said yesterday that Cassius Clay has promised to give him the next shot at Clay’s title, in spite of repons that Brian London (Britain) might get the bout. “I had a long discussion with Clay in Chicago just before Christmas and we agreed to fight, maybe within three months.” he said. Terrell had been named by Clay as his next opponent after he defeated Floyd Patterson on November 22. However, in recent weeks it has been reported that London might be favoured for the bout
