<N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) WARRINGTON. George Duckworth, aged 64, the former Lancashire and England wicket-keeper, died yesterday in a Warrington hospital.
Duckworth collapsed in the street near his home on Saturday evening and was unconscious until he died early yesterday. Duckworth joined Lancashire in 1923 and later toured Australia three times as an England player, returning in 1946 as a journalist and again in 1954 as baggage-master and scorer. He gained his first test
