Haast Road Reopened
CV.Z. Press Association! GREYMOUTH, Jan. 5. The Haast Pass highway, which had been closed because of scouring at Bullock creek, near Paringa, was reopened this afternoon Ministry of Works men repaired the approaches to the Bullock creek bridge, which had been scoured by heavy rain between January 1 and January 5, when more than 13 inches of rain fell in the Paringa area. During that time nearly! 2000 vehicles used the high-1 way.
