Liban Dead

Liban, a capable galloper some years ago, died during the week.
By Super from the Siegfried mare Sumra, Liban won 11 races and secured 22 placings for £8660 10s in stakes. One of his most important successes was the Jockey Club Handicap at Riccarton where he established a mile track-record of Imin 35 l-ssec. Liban stood et the stud for a few seasons, but was very lightly patronised.
