Betting Up At Washdyke
The racing on the second day of the South Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting at Washdyke yesterday was held in fine weather before a good attendance. The track was fast. The totalisator on-course handled £26,778 10s, compared with £25,723 10s last year. The total for the two day’s was £62,013, compared with £56,499 10s.
