Take Care Tonight
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 30. Since Christmas Eve Transport Department officers have issued 3893 traffic violation notices, arrested 13 intoxicated motorists and taken the keys from 125 drinking drivers.
Drivers tonight were warned by the department of the danger of drinking and driving after New Year’s Eye parties. Traffic patrols will be reinforced tomorrow night and early on January 1 in an effort to reduce accidents.
