Obituary MR W. A. HISLOP
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 30.
The death occurred at his home at Rotorua this week of Mr William Alexander Hislop, who for more than 40 years had been in the motion picture industry in New Zealand. He was 75.
He retired as general manager of Universal Pictures. Ltd., in 1962. Mr Hislop was a past president of the Motion Picture Distributors’ Association and a foundation member of the Film Industry Board. He was also a past chairman of the Mutual Film Insurance Board.
