READY FOR LAUNCHING.—This 45ft trawler, built at Lyttelton to the order of Mr B. Piner, of Greymouth, will be launched today. She is designed for general fishing and crayfishing on the West Coast The craft has a kauri hull, but her keel and frames are of Australian hardwood. A 110 h.p. diesel engine will give her a cruising speed of nine knots. A sister vessel was built at Timaru for Mr Piner last year, and the Lyttelton builders now have the keel laid for a third trawler for the same owner.
