Bigger Guard On Relay Station

FRANCISTOWN (Bechuanaland), Dec. 29. More British troops have flown to Francistown to guard the radio relay station which will beam British Broadcasting Corporation broadcasts to Rhodesia, the South African Press Association has reported.
At least three British Al: Force Argosy transport: landed yesterday with troops S.A.P.A. said.
The first batch of 95 troops was reported to have flown to Francistown last Friday from Swaziland, said the Associated Press.
In New York, the Zambian Foreign Minister, Mr Simon M. Kapwepwe, said he believed both military force and economic sanctions would be necessary to bring down the rebel minority Government in Rhodesia.

ernment would eventually be dislodged, but he would not guess when. Mr Kapwepwe said it would
make no difference whether
U.N. forces or others were used to remove the Smith regime. Mr Kapwepwe said he had told U Thant of Zambia’s reaction to the Rhodesian situation and had passed on the result of his talks earlier with Government officials in
London and Washington.
