Honey Prices Firm In U.K.

Supplies of New Zealand “old crop” honey in the United Kingdom have been cleared and brokers are looking forward to the arrival of new season’s supplies, says the London office of the Bank of New Zealand in its monthly market report. Quotations in London for the small quantities of clover honey '.vailable are £lB5-£l9O a ton, with extra light amber about £175 a ton.

Argentine honey is firmer at £lO3 10s 6d a ton c.i.f. and Australian light amber is quoted at £lOO-£lO2 10s elf.

The market is quite active and brokers anticipate that further rises are probable.
