Blown Out Of Pram
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 27. A three-month-old baby boy in a pram was blown from Evans Bay road to the rocks on the sea shore yesterday afternoon. He is Stewart McKell. whose parents live at Lyall Bay. The baby suffered abrasions and bruises to the back of the head and bruising to the nose.
He was taken by free ambulance to Wellington Hospital and discharged after treatment.
High seas lashed by a strong northerly on Wellington Harbour yesterday forced two fishing parties numbering 11, including four children, to spend the night in the shelter of Ward Island. The two cabin cruisers were lashed together and beached in the shelter of a massive rock.
