CABINET BUSY

(N.Z. Press Association! WELLINGTON, Dec. 20. The Cabinet .held one of its longest sittings this year when it met today to deal with an 80item agenda. Ministers ended their eight-hour meeting soon after 8 p.m. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said all 80 Items had been dealt with and decisions made.

He said the agenda had dealt entirely with domestic issues. “No particular” international questions had been discussed, he said. Usually the Cabinet considers about 40 items at its weekly meetings. The Cabinet will not meet again until Tuesday, January 25, unless unforeseen circumstances arise.
