Merivale House Sold For £4700
A house on a section of 28.7 perches, toned residential B, at 50A Cartton Mill road, Merivale, was sold for £4700 st public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr G. H Klsseil.
The house, which is in need of renovation, has two bed-
rooms, sunroom, lounge, and kitchen-dinette. The initial bid was £3250. There were two bids of £250, two of £lOO, and 15 of £5O. A brick bungaflow and a garage on a section of 33 perches alt 181 Barrington street, Spreydon, was passed ta at £7500. The auctioneer was Mr Denya Chapman. The house has a lounge, two bedrooms, kitchen-din-ette, halO, sunroom, bathroom, and laundry. A weatherboard bungalow with a tiled roof at 219 Bower avenue, North Beach, was passed in at £2550. The property was offered on account of the estate of William Hobson. The auctiooeer was Mr L. W. Aitken. The house has two bedrooms, sunroom, lounge, kitcbeoettA bathroom, and laundry. There Is also a garage on the section of 32 perches.
