Police Transfers
Detective Inspector M. T. Churches has begun duties in the CJ.B; at the Christchurch Central Police Station. He has been in the New Zealand Police for 11 years and had been in Auckland all this time. He replaces Detective Inspector W. E. Hollinshead, now head of the C. 1.8. in Dunedin. Detective Senior Sergeant E. T. Mitten is in Sydney on a four months* exchange scheme visit Constable J. E. Brailey, who has been watchhouse-keeper at the Christchurch Central Police Station for the last six years, has been transferred to St Albans. He is secretary of the Christchurch branch of the New Zealand Police Assodation.
