INTER-CHURCH TRIBUTE TO COOK BLANDER.— Mr Teehu Makimare, winner of the Royal Humane Society’s ISM Stanhope Geld Modal, with the Rev. Dr. N. J. Cockburn, general-secrotary of the British and Foreign Bible Society, after being given an illuminated Bible in Maori at Bible House, London. The presentation was made on behalf of churches of all denominations in appreciation of Mr Makimare’s courage, faith, and leadership during a voyage in the South Pacific in a disabled fishing cutter.
