REASON FOR THEFT
Could Not Afford To Buy Boat (N.Z. Press Association! AUCKLAND. Dec. 18 Two young men who stole a boat and trailer worth £l6O told the police they could not afford to buy a boat so they stole one, Senior-Sergeant R. T. N. Hutton told Mr H. Jenner Wily, S.M. Dennis Alfred de Thierry, aged 21, a driver, and Peter Richard Mackenzie, aged 21, a carpenter, admitted joint charges of theft. They were remanded to December 22 for sentence.
