Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. The Auckland Peace for Vietnam Committee views with alarm the fact that already about 100 New Zealand soldiers under the age of 21 have been sent to serve with units overseas, some of them to Vietnam as “replacements,” says the committee chairman (Mr L. Reid) in a statement. The statement says that these young people are expected to give their lives, yet they are not considered mature enough to vote.
