Help For Pakistan
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 19. Thirty bales of clothing and blankets collected in Auckland by the Council of Organisation for Relief Services Overseas three weeks ago for war victims in West Pakistan will be diverted to the cyclone-stricken area of East Pakistan. The Auckland C.0.R.5.0. organiser (Mr R. C. Sandford) was notified by headquarters in Wellington that they had received an urgent request for supplies. The war victims In West Pakistan will not be forgotten. There is a surplus of clothing from the last Auckland appeal, and this, together with that given in collections in other New Zealand centres, will be sent to them.
