No Action
In view of opposition, no action would be taken on its proposal to extend the North Canterbury Catchment Board boundary, said the Local Government Commission in a letter received by the Mount Herbert County Council at its meeting yesterday. The commission had urged extension to bring in North Canterbury and Banks Peninsula counties.
