Vandalism In Cemeteries
(N.Z. Frets Axxociation) GISBORNE, Dec. 14. The police are investigating damage to monuments at the Ormond cemetery estimated at between £3OO and £5OO. Seven crosses were broken and a carved marble monument which cannot be replaced was smashed. At the week-end, vandals broke off a number of headstones at the Te Karaka cemetery.
