N.Z. Tennis Teams (N.Z. htii Ataoetatton) WELLINGTON. The Canterbury player, J. Mitchell, has won a place in New Zealand’s junior tennis teams to play in Australia next month. The teams announced after the final trials were played yesterday, are:— Linton Cup.—D. Cassidy, B. Fairlie (Auckland). J. Mitchell, O. Parun (Wellington). Wilson Cup.—Misses S. Collins (Southland), J. Elliott (Manawatu), Deidre KarrTaylor, B. Verm (Auckland). The non-travelling reserves are K. Woolcott (Hutt Valley) and Miss H. Ward (North Shore). Fairlie, Mitchell and Parun were automatic selections for the Linton Cup team, but the »ele.list have pandered long over Cassidy and Woolcott. Woolcott had chances in both sets against Cassidy yesterday, but failed to clinch them.
