Combined Party
About 45 members of the Fendalton Garden Club attended the club’s combined Christmas party and twentyfifth anniversary celebrations, at Mrs D. M. Lamb’s home in Yaldhurot road. Miss L. V. Gates, a vicepresident, presided, in the absence of the president (Mrs R. H. Cranfieid). The club's patron (Mrs A. R. Blank) who gave a birthday cake, outlined the history of the club and the influence of Mr J. R. Templin in the formation of garden dubs in New Zealand.
