Mixed-Race Study Urged Anglican churches in South Africa have urged their clergy and people to take the initiative in providing opportunities for people of different cultures and race to meet in conference for pray* : nd the study of Christianity. A copy of a resolution passed by the provincial synod in November this ye*, received at the New Zealand headquarters of the National Council of Churches in Christchurch this week, said that the church was conscious of its past failure to exercise a ministry of reconeilfartfou.
For effective fellowship in study and conference it was important for Christians of different races to live und* one roof and share a common board. The resolution affirmed freedom of association in study and in conference with all members of the church irrespective qf their race.
