One of the largest > searches in the Rocky meontains will be launched today for the missing director of specs medicine for the National Aeronautics and Spoce Administration. Air Force and civil air patrol wings from five States will join in a combined effort to find Dr. W. Randolph Lovelace, aged 57, his wife, Mary, aged 53, and their pilot, Milton Brown, aged 27. Dr. Lovelace helped select America’s first 10 astronauts. He, his wife, and their pitot, disappeared on Sunday after taking off from Aspen, Colorado, in a twin-engined Beechcraft plane. They were returning to Albuquerque. The area has been hit by heavy snow and rain the last two days as the first winter storm of the year hit New Mexico.
