The Rev. R. F. N. Thompson, vicar of Motuske. has been appointed aastatant to the Rev. Canon D. D. Thorpe at St John's Church, Latimer square. Mr Thompson was ordained by the Bishop of Christchurch to 1937 and was vicar of Spreydon-Hoon Hay from 1946 to 1961 when he went to Motueka. He will take up bls new work at the end of February. Mr F. F. Lettwsn, aged 28, . has been appointed Crown solicitor in Wanganui. He succeeds Mr C. N. Armstrong.— (PX) The Bev. T. G.
