Additional Voyages By Inter-Island Steamers

The Union Steam Ship Company has arranged a series of daylight and special sailings to cope with holiday traffic. These will be in addition to the normal schedule. Next Sunday, the Maori is due at Lyttelton at 6.15 am. and passengers can be expected to arrive at the Christchurch railway station at 7 a m. The ship will return to Wellington on a special daylight crossing after the arrival of the 7.45 am. train at Lyttelton. On the same day the Maori will sail again from Wellington at 8 p.m., arriving at Lyttelton at 7 am. on December 20. On Thursday, December 23, the Hinemoa will arrive at Lyttelton at 6.15 am. Passengers are due at the Christchurch railway station at 7 а. The vessel will sail for Wellington on a special daylight trip the same morning after the arrival of the 7.45 am. train. The Maori will make a special daylight sailing from Wellington on December 23, departing at 8.30 a.m. and arriving at Lyttelton at 6 p.m. Passengers should reach the Christchurch station about б. p.m. The vessel will return to Wellington the same evening after the arrival of the 7.37 pm. train. On Monday, January 3, toe Hinemoa will arrive at Lyttelton at 6.15 a.m. Passengers are due at Christchurch station at 6.45 am. and the vessel will sail for Wellington again the same morning on a special daylight trip after the arrival of the 7.45 am. train at Lyttelton. From Wellington on Monday, January 3, the Maori will also make a special daylight trip, departing at 8.30 am. and being due at Lyttelton at 6 pm. Passengers will arrive at Christchurch station about 6.45 pm. The Maori will return to Wellington on January 3 after the arrival of the 737 pm. train at Lyttelton. Special additional sailings from both Wellington and Lyttelton have been arranged for Sunday, January 9, Friday, January 14, Saturday, January 15, Sunday, January 16, Sunday, January 23, Friday, January 28, Saturday, January 29, and Sunday.
