Poultry Trials
Leading teams at the end of the tenth month of the New Zealand Utility Poultry Club’s trials were:— Six-bird teams.—Australorps: Mrs G. M. Cromie (Christchurch), 1338 eggs. White Leghorns: Bromley Park (Tuakau), 1315 eggs. Any other variety: J. R. Campbell (Oatnaru), 1338 eggs with Rhode Island Reds. Twenty-bird teams.—Australorps: W. A. McClatchy (Christchurch), 4178 eggs. White Leghorns: H. G. Sugden (Christchurch), 3527 eggs. At the end of the fourth month of the autumn-hatched trials placings were:— Six-bird teams.—White Leghorns: S. W. and D. Ballantyne (Invercargill), 644 eggc. Twenty-bird teems.—Cross Bred: H. R. Woottea (Auckland), 1668 eggs.
