Pakistan Censors Telegrams

All telegrams to Pakistan were subject to censorship by the Pakistan authorities the Chief Postmaster (Mr J. W. Lincoln) announced on Monday. They could bo stopped or delayed without notice to the senders and without retot buraement Mr Lincoln said that the only urgent telegrams allowed were press messages and telegrams sent by banks and jute firms. Except for Government messages, telegrams had to be written in plain English and were accepted at the sender’s risk. Banks and jute firms were allowed to send telegrams containing cosnmerdal codes relating to commercial information only.
