Two Houses Sold
A bungalow on a section of 24 perches at 15® Buckleys road, Linwood, was sold for £2950 at public auction yesterday. The property was offered on account of the estate of Mr M. L Greetorex by Mr Colin Robertson.
The house has a living-room, three bedrooms, and a kitchen. The initial bid was £2200. There were five bids of £lOO, four (rf £5O, and two of £25. Offered on account of Mr George J. J. Clarit, an earlytype weatherboard bungalow at 736 Cashmere road, Halswell, was passed in at £2700. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The house baa an entrance sunroom, • hall, two livingrooms, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and laundry.
There is also a garage on the section of 51 perches. A house at 271 Papanui road, Papanui, has been sold by N. H. McCrostie and Company. The property was passed in at £6BOO at auction recently.
