SALVATION ARMY
Appointments Made Appointments which will take effect from January next year have been announced by the Salvation Army. Major 11. D. McDonald, of Linwood, will go to Wellington as the assistant divisional commander. He will be replaced by Major F. Reeves, from Wellington South. Major G. Beale, of Sydenham, who will be transferred to Lower Hutt, will be replaced by Major J. Nicolson, of Oamaru.
Captain J. Brown, of St Albans, will be going to Greymouth. The St. Albans post will be taken by Captain R. K. Goodes, of Foxton. Captain L. Padman. of Greymouth, has been appointed divisional youth officer in Palmerston North. Major K. J. Manson, of Ashburton, has been transferred to the Auckland Congress Hall and will be replaced by Captain R. Ford, of Gisborne. Lieutenant R. Solomon, of Kaiapoi, will take command of the Rangiora and Kaiapoi circuit | Major H. Sutton, formerly of Mosgiel, will take up a position in Spreydon. Auxiliary Captain M. McCaughey, of Queenstown, has been appointed assistant officer of the New Brighton circuit.
Major D. Adams, of the Christchurch Men's Social Service Centre, has been appointed manager of Rudman House in Wellington. His post at the centre will be taken by Major R. Richards, of Dunedin South.
