IT IS AS OLD AS HUMANITY When Miss Anne-Marie de Spa, Christchurch’s only graduated Aesthetician, was asked whether the present emphasis on feminine beauty was just another erage or normal trend, she replied: “It is as old as humanity. Women have always wanted to look lovely and conserve their natural beauty; but more so since the emancipation of women has pleased them more prominently in the public eye. This gave rise to the training of specialists (known as Aestheticians), to guide and advise women on the care of their skin and the enhancement of their face and body.” Ring 556-124 and Miss de Spa will be glad to give you advice and arrange for an appointment.
