Lamb Prices Advance (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Nov. 26. There was a steady trading on London’s Smithfield Market this week, according to the Meat Board's market information service. There was a good inquiry for New Zealand lamb with the light-weight grade (281 b and under) being quoted }d higher than the previous week and a id rise in the other grades. There was a slow inquiry for New Zealand mutton at nominal prices. The main grade of wethers (49/561b) sold at 15d to 16d per lb and ewes at 10jd to lid per lb.
