SEWERS FOR SUMNER
A loan of £350,000 would be raised for the Sumner interceptor sewer system, the Christchurch Drainage Board decided last evening. It gave its staff authority to proceed with negotiations for the purchase of a pumping station site in the Christchurch City Council reserve. McCormacks Bay, near the Mt. Pleasant Community Centre.
