Britain Faces Bad Winter

Britons face a miserable winter as Arctic conditions spread throughout the United Kingdom and the ElectricityBoard called on consumers to economise on the use of power. In London yesterday the temperature lingered just above freezing point, while snow and ice affected all the 33 counties of Scotland.
