HE BOUGHT A CHURCH.—Mr Eric Thompstone standing by the former Congregational Church in Caroline street. Longton, Staffordshire which he bought for £5000. Under his leadership, the church is non-denominational M r Thompstone, who sold his 100-acre dairy farm to buy the church now works as a gardener. He has four children. He often enters the pulpit to preach.
