Child Struck By Car
A child, Trevor John Stevens, of 36 Farrington avenue, was struck by a car in Farrington avenue not far from his home at 5.24 p.m. yesterday. He suffered lacerations to the back of the scalp. Taken by St. John Ambulance to Christchurch Hospital he was later transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital and admitted. His condition late last night was quite comfortable.
