Found Burglar On Sill

AUCKLAND, Nov. 19. A woman went into her bathroom and found Samuel Maniel Belvie half-way through the window, Detec-tive-Sergeant J. Sheehan said in the Magistrate’s Court today. Belvie, aged 20. a machine operator, admitted burgling the house. He was convicted and remanded in custody until next Friday for a probation report and sentence. Detective-Sergeant Sheehan said the woman ran outside, but Belvie, who lived in the same street, made off. Interviewed by police, Belvie said he had wanted to steal money to pay bills.
