(N.Z. Press Association)
AUCKLAND, Nov. 21. The Union Steam Ship Company is short of seamen and engine-room staff for three coastal ships in Auckland. A spokesman for the company said the shortage also extended to other New Zealand ports. He said the Katui, which was loaded and ready to sail for Bluff, needed two motormen. The Kawaroa, which had been ready to sail since Thursday, was 10 seamen short.
