The leading team, Leeston, lo*st 17 wickets for 91 runs and Weedons was dismissed for 13 when the Eiiesmere cricket competition continued.
Teams were without their representative players and Irwefoi beat Southbridge by default. I. Barclay and A. Riordon each took four cheap wickets for Lincoln against Weedons —the other two batsmen were run out.
The best figures of the day were returned by C. Wilson (Dunsandel) with seven for 14. No batsman scored 50 or more. Results:
Dunsandel 109/7 declared (P Buckenham 38, M. Frampton 27; I. Chamberlain 3/55) beat Leeston 47 (W’iteon 7/l«> and 44/7 (Frampton 5/14). Lincoln 198/7 (A. Campbell 46. L Tweedie 47) beat Weedons 13 (Barclay 4/6, Riordon 4/7).
