ZONING APPEAL
Objection To Reserve
Miss Jean Rotha Anderson, who farms at Charteris Bay, appealed to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board yesterday against the zoning by the Mount Herbert County Council of 74 perches of her land as a proposed recreational reserve. She asked that the land be zoned residential. The council submitted that there was a need to provide for visitors to the bay an area on which they could park their cars and picnic with safe access to the waterfront. The board reserved its derision.
