Mayor Visits Hospital
(From Our Own Reporter) HOKITIKA, Nov. 5. Mrs N. Hancock, a wellknown Christchurch hotelkeeper, had a surprise visitor at the Westland Hospital on Wednesday evening. She was injured in a fall in Greymouth recently and later transferred to the hospital in Hokitika. When the Mayor of Christchurch (Mr G. Manning) heard this, he took time off from the South Island Local Bodies’ Association’s conference to call at the hospital.
