FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT The anti-cyclone to the north-east of the North Island is continuing to move away while a moist north-westerly airstream flows over the country. Forecast: Canterbury.—Light to moderate and variable winds; cloudy with areas of mist and drizzle, especially night and morning; moderate to mild temperatures. Marlborough and Nelson.—Moderate to fresh west to north-west winds; cloudy and mild; extensive areas of mist and drizzle night and morning, but some bright periods during the day. Buller and Westland.-—Moderate variable winds; overcast and mild with extensive areas of fog and light rain. Outlook.—Similar conditions in all districts. CHRISTCHURCH READINGS
