SCHOOL AT 6 A.M.

Experiment At Kelburn (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, November 5. All but one of the pupils of form II at Kelburn Normal School arrived at school in time today—at 6 a.m.—to begin the first day of an “early-school” experiment. Miss B. A. Young, the senior mistress, who was at the school to start lessons this morning, said the children first took interest in the experiment during a general class discussion on the work of U.N.E.S.C.O. The children finished their day at 12.20 p.m., with morning break at 7.30 a.m. and lunch at 9 a.m. The experiment will be followed up by a report to the school committee, discussion and written class work.
