Dolomite In Bulk
(N.Z. Press Association) NELSON, November 3. Nelson district’s first large bulk shipment of finelyground dolomite left for Tauranga in the Titoki from Tarakohe today. Previous shipments have been in chips or in bags. The 800-ton consignment is being sent in bulk to try to meet increased handling charges. Dolomite is used by several North Island fertiliser works to include in fertilisers to correct magnesium deficiencies in soils.
