No N.Z. Wool For India

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 4. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) said tonight New Zealand was not considering a contribution of wool to India under the Colombo Plan. It was announced today that Australia planned to give India 4,000,000 pounds of greasy wool to enable India to increase her exports of textiles.

“We have no such proposal under consideration,” said Mr Holyoake. All New Zealand's Colombo Plan funds already were spent on other projects, including technical aid.
