UNIVERSITY VACANCIES THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW SOUTH WALES Invites Applications For Appointment To The Position Of TEACHING FELLOW SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTANCY THE successful applicant will be appointed at a salary between £l5OO and £2050 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be for one year and there are prospects of renewal on an annual basils for a maximum period of three years. Applicants must preferably hold an honours degree in accountancy or have equivalent qualifications, although students in their final honours year are invited to apply. For a man interested in the problems of first-year teaching the University can provide a variety of tutorial and library services and audio-visual aids. For his own research, which need not necessarily lie within the field he teachers, the University makes various provisions, including grants for books, microfilm. travel and study leave, and can in some circumstances provide or attract grants for overseas research assistance. SALARY SCALES: Senior Lecturer £A3250-110-3800; Lecturer £A2400-110-3170: with superannuation on the F.S.S.U. basis. Buildings of the School of Physical Sciences will be completed towards the end of 1965 and teaching will begin there in March, 1966. The successful applicants will have the opportunity of assisting in the development of new laboratory experiments. Research work in Physics will be in the general field of plasma physics and the appointees will be expected to enrol for higher, degree studies in this field.
