THE NEW ZEALAND REFINING COMPANY, LTD., INSTRUMENT/ELECTRICAL ENGINEER APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from suitably qualified persons for this position, which is a senior technical post in the company’s refinery at Marsden Point, Whangerei. The appointee will have responsibilities for instrument and electrical engineering, installation and maintenance. A staff of twelve supervisors and mechanics is employed. It is preferred that applicants have an engineering degree or its equivalent, but non graduates with previous experience in a similar position should interest themselves. The successful applicant will be required to undertake extensive training overseas on which (if married) he would be accompanied by his family. It is not anticipated that he would actually take up his duties permanently at Marsden Point before 1967. The company offers excellent conditions of service, including membership of its Pension Fund. Salary will be commensurate with the requirements of the position and the qualifications of the person selected, and will be subject to regular review.
