GAOLED AGAIN
African Made Allegations (N.Z P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG, Oct. 29. A former African convict whose published allegations of maltreatment of prisoners raised a storm in South Africa was yesterday gaoled for six months for making a false statement under oath.
Isaac Setshedi, aged 25, was one of four persons whose allegations of maltreatment at the Cinderella prison near Johannesburg were published in the “Rand Daily Mail” on July 30.
