October 28 KAIAPOI VOLUNTEERS.—On Thursday afternoon last, Mr. James Craig of Kaiapoi. was riding in the neighborhood of the butt belonging to this company, and not noticing any danger signal, he incautiously passed close behind it, and a bullet passed close by his head.
